Following a positive expert opinion, the competent government authority issues a Certificate of State Registration (SGR). In Kazakhstan, this is the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health.
Product information is entered in the EAEU Unified Register on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) website.
The product may then be imported and sold legally in all member states.

According to the technical regulations of the EAEU, marking must contain:
- indication of the presence of GMO components (“contains GMO” or “the product was obtained using GMO”);
