What is the State Registration Certificate for food products and why is it needed?
A State Registration Certificate (SGR) is not required for every food product. CU TR 021/2011 provides separate state registration routes for specialised and novel food. Many ordinary food products follow the declaration of conformity procedure.
What to prepare for assessment
- Formula, intended use, production process and raw material information.
- Nutritional values, shelf life, storage conditions and draft labelling.
- Manufacturer details, research results and available documents for imported products.

Stages of obtaining a State Registration Certificate for food products

Consultation and product analysis
Our expert identifies the product category, EAEU commodity code (TN VED) and requirements for the testing to be carried out.

Document preparation
We gather the product composition, description, label, photograph, manufacturer details and storage conditions.

Laboratory testing
Sanitary, toxicological, microbiological and physicochemical studies are carried out in an accredited laboratory.

Submission of documents and registration
ALMA TEST submits the required documents to the government agency and oversees the process until approval is obtained.

Receiving the SGR certificate
The client receives a state registration certificate and a link to the entry in the EAEU register. The products are then approved for circulation in the union's countries.
