What is an SGR for water and why is it required?
A State Registration Certificate (SGR) confirms compliance with water safety requirements. EAEU TR 044/2017 requires registration for water intended for children’s nutrition and for medicinal and medicinal table natural mineral water. Other categories of packaged drinking water require a declaration of conformity.
What to prepare for assessment
- Water category, source and manufacturer details.

- Available test reports; evidence of therapeutic and preventive properties for medicinal and medicinal table water.

Stages of obtaining a State Registration Certificate for water

Consultation and product analysis
