01 / Product requirements
What is the SGR for specialized products and why is it needed?
Specialised food includes dietary food for therapeutic or preventive purposes and food for athletes, pregnant women and breastfeeding women. Article 24 of CU TR 021/2011 requires state registration; CU TR 027/2012 additionally applies to certain categories.
What to prepare for assessment
- Intended use, target group and consumption recommendations.
- Formula, nutritional and energy values, and levels of relevant components.
- Evidence supporting product claims, test results and draft labelling.

Steps to obtain an SGR for specialised products

Consultation and product analysis
Our expert identifies the product category, EAEU commodity code (TN VED) and required laboratory tests.

Document preparation
We gather the product composition, description, instructions for use, label and photographs, and check their accuracy.

Laboratory testing
Toxicological, physicochemical and microbiological studies are carried out in an accredited laboratory.

Submission of documents and registration
ALMA TEST submits an application to the authorized body and supports the process until a decision is received.

Receiving the SGR certificate
You receive a certificate and a link to the entry in the EAEU registry, confirming the legal circulation of products within the union.
